West Texas Shakedown FAQ
Can we take ice chests and pits?
BBQ PITS will be allowed this year,but a waiver will have to be signed outlining guidelines to having pit on show grounds, proper fire extinguisher will be required, facility rules, ICE CHESTS and BBQ PITS will be allowed only to contestants of the show and sponsors with a booth, There will be a $10 fee for every ice chest brought in, SPECTATORS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO BRING ICE CHESTS
How much is pre-registration before show and registration at the gate?
Pre-registration is $30.00 and registration at gate will be $35.00, you will get two weekend passes with your registration.
For Lowrider Bikes, it is $20 Pre-registration, $25 day of, you will get one weekend pass with your registration.
For Model Cars, it is $10 Pre-registration, $15 day of, you will get one weekend pass with your registration.

$10 for extra band

It will cost $75.00 to have a 10 x 10 booth
What kind of vehicles compete in this show?
The vehicles that compete include everything like mini trucks, sport trucks, classic cars, street rods, muscle cars, import tuners, motorcycles, boats, low riders, golf carts, 4 x 4 Big Trucks, custom built barbecue pits, models cars, and many many more.
What or Who is this event benefitting?
After the Show, A big donation is made to our local American Cancer Society to help with their annual Relay For Life event.

When can spectators start coming into show?
We will be set up and ready for spectators to come in at noon
When can Vendors and Contestants start moving in to set up?
Saturday, the earlier the better starting at 7:00 am

Where is the West Texas Shake Down Show?
The West Texas Shakedown Show will be held at the San Angelo Fair Grounds and the Wells Fargo Pavilion located at 200 W. 43rd st in San Angelo TX !!!!! Next to the San Angelo Coliseum...
Will I be allowed to leave my vehicle there saturday night, and will there be security?
yes, definitely you can leave your vehicle out there saturday night, everything is fenced off , sheriffs department will be out there all night patrolling the grounds and some shakedown staff will be there to keep watch on rides

Can we take Ice chests and pits?
Only Ice chests, and only show entries and vendors, they must be brought in as they register, There will be food vendors out there selling drinks and food as well. NO GLASS BOTTLES!

When can Spectators,Vendors and Contestants start coming in?
Vendors and Contestants can start coming in at 7:00 am on Saturday and 8:00 am on Sunday, set up during this time will last till 12:00 p.m both days
Spectators can start entering the show at 12:00 p.m, Show and shine will be Saturday from 12 to 5, and Sunday 12 to 4

Where is Oklahoma Shakedown?
It is at the Choctaw Event Center, 4418 HWY. 69/75, DURANT, OK. 74701, right next door to the Choctaw Casino and Resort!
Will I be allowed to leave my vehicle at show, and will there be security?
Yes you may leave your show vehicle at show at your own risk, there is guard rails blocking all around show area and Choctaw Casino Security will be out there all night taking watch on show area
Will there be a shuttle bus that goes to and from show to the Choctaw Casino and Hotel?
yes, Casino will have shuttle buses working throughout the day for contestants and spectators
